Virgin Megastores has set the lineup for its 4th Virgin College Mega Tour, with a focus on hip-hop in the form of headliner Talib Kweli.
The tour takes in 18 cities from April to May, and is sponsored by Major League Baseball Properties and Cadbury-Adams (pushing the Stride chewing gum).
In addition to concerts, the tour brings a Daytime Village where students can play in Nintendo Wii competitions (courtesy of Stride gum), get autographs from the bands, and see a load of other stuff that doesn’t really stand out from the crowd.
“With live music, college students will think to seek us out for live music and other entertainment in the future,” said Katy Mollica, director of strategic marketing for Virgin Entertainment Group North America.
