VICE is one of the fastest growing independent youth media companies in the world. VICE has offices in 17 countries and a growing portfolio of media properties including magazines, records, events, dvd, marketing, venues, films, documentaries, online and IPTV.
VICE’s website currently receives over 10 million impressions per month and attracts over 1.5 million unique users, more than doubling over the past 12 months. VICE have also recently launched an online television network.
To oversee the development of these assets VICE is hiring a Head of Digital. The correct candidate will have a background in online advertising sales and business development.
The Head of Digital candidate will in conjunction with the teams in the UK and international, oversee all elements of the Viceland and VBS Europe including: implementing new revenue streams, maximising existing advertising relationships, marketing, and increasing traffic, developing strategic partnerships, overseeing content and design development, exploring content syndication and mobile solutions, ensuring integration of the VICE media world digitally, all ultimately to increase the profitability of VICE’s digital assets.
The idea candidate will have solid experience within the field in online advertising sales and business development within the field and contacts within the advertising industry are a must.
