Childline ties up with Dubplate Drama

September 5th, 2007 · No Comments

This I like.  Back when Ketchup was an emailed PDF thingy, I covered a series called Dubplate Drama, which is an interactive urban drama series where viewers could vote on how the story progressed.  So it’s nice to see it’s back for a second series, and even better to see that Childline has signed a deal to promote its 24hr helpline.

The NSPCC has been consilted about the script, which will tackle issues including bullying, drugs, depression and pregnancy (hopefully tackled a lot better than Hollyoaks!)

The show will also be available on mobiles and MySpace, with MySpace hosting exclusive content from the drama as well as interactive voting, as part of a wider partnership marketing effort from a nice agency called Livity.
