Hewlett-Packard continues celeb endorsement campaign

October 1st, 2007 · No Comments

Following on from some of my favourite tv ads, Hewlett-Packard are continuing down the road of hiring big name celebs to endorse their products.  Gwen Stefani will be joined by snowboard maker Jake Burton and graphic designer Paula Scher, and they’ll be portrayed as “achievers” with the tagline “what do you have to say?” designed to get HP users expressing themselves with equipment and online tools.

In a really nice touch, each celeb endorsement will offer an interesting interactive element, with a Gwen website offering visitors the chance to combine their personal content with designs from Stefani’s Harajuku Lovers design line and print greeting cards, CD labels, paper dolls and more.

Small to mid-sized businesses will be able to build their brands with advice from Jake Burton and use customisable templates for cards, letterheads and brochures from Paula Scher.

Additionally, HP has also established two print wikis, targeting both consumers and small business owners, for collaboration on projects and info sharing.
