Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), the sporting and entertainment company that own’s the O2, is setting up its first pan-European sponsorship division following its acquisition of sports and entertainment marketing company, The Bonham Group Europe.
The department, which will be called AEG Sponsorship, will be led by former O2 sponsorsip chief Paul Samuels, who is chief executive of The Bonham Group Europe. Samuels is now seeking to recruit staff.
The division will work on AEG’s ventures across the region and on its sponsorship of music tours and events, as well as naming rights and sponsorship for facilities across Europe, and AEG’s music division, AEG Live.
