O2 Fashion Flix

February 21st, 2008 · No Comments

O2 is launching a mobile video magazine called Fashion Flix, to be targeted at women between 18 and 34 with a passion for shopping.  Lucky my girlfriend is on Orange then!!!!!

Taking the form of a 2min weekly show, Fashion Flix will alternate between ‘Star Steal’, with a focus on how to dres like a particular celebrity, and ‘Hot Off The Rail’, which will showcase high street clothes and offer styling tips.

It’s nice to see something that isn’t music being offered as content.  It’s actually something that is probably much more important to the target audience, and if I’m honest, I’d be quite happy to watch it too if I had a spare couple of minutes on the bus.

So the question is how hard will O2 push it.  With fashion being such an opinion splitter and personal thing to women, it will rely on having really credible content because there are a million other places that women can get similar information from.

But when will someone do one for men? It really annoys me that there isn’t a weekly or online ‘thing’ for men that isn’t about football, breasts and cars.  Really annoys me.
