I’ve just come across a slightly odd collaboration between Vauxhall Corsa and the team behind Bestival, called Bandstand.
“Corsa has teamed up with Sunday Best (Bestival, Camp Bestival) to help keep the festival experience going all year round.
Like Sunday Best, Corsa’s heritage is British through and through, with its cheeky sence of adventure and fun, it’s a match made in heaven.
Corsa is the spirited little enabler to fun times wherever they may be.
Bandstand, like Corsa, is all about going on a journey and discovering new and exciting adventures with your mates. The C’Mons are also in town, so who know what might happen.”
Taking place on 3rd May in London and 10th May in Liverpool, the events will feature Mark Ronson, Rob Da Bank and others.
Not sure how much value there really is for Corsa as its such a small scale activity that it will realistically influence very very few purchases, so I would guess that its all about trying to get people to test drive.
So that would mean having some Corsa’s at the events for people to sit in, like a car show room. And that’s the problem really….they aren’t car show rooms, they’re music events and are worlds apart.
