Ibiza Rocks Hotel

Ibiza Rocks continues to, erm, well…..rock.  In a hotel.  In Ibiza.  I want to go.

Although quite a leap for any brand, unless of course your a luxury brand like Versace et al, the Ibiza Rocks Hotel is a great idea and opportunity.  It’s going to be a “concept hotel fusing music and fashion with fresh ideas” in San Antonio.

The hotel will feature a gig venue, band practise rooms, pools, a gym, boutiques, some bars and a band-in-residence.

I’m not sure if Sony Ericsson are sponsoring Ibiza Rocks again this year (let me know Iris people), but it would be a great opportunity if they are.  To have a relatively small captive audience for a week, but with a constant turnover, should allow any brand to really connect with the audience in several ways, and potentially create very strong brand advocates to send home to Blighty and spread the word.

Great for the Manumission team as well - I’ve been reading a lot about the clamp-down on opening hours in Ibiza, and problems with different clubs.  So bugg*r the lot of them, let’s do it all back at our own place….great idea!

I just wonder how many indie band viedos will appear with the band lazing by the pool (in skin tight grubby jeans) - just like Wham and Pikes Hotel!
